Your opportunity

Because this is a new service, you will have the opportunity to help create it and be part of a new team that will benefit children and families in Northern Adelaide. You will be in charge of clinical care coordination and suicide prevention programs.

This is a permanent part-time position that requires 19 hours per week. The income range for this work will start at $48.34 per hour, and you will be able to obtain a tax-free salary package of up to $18,540 per year.

Other responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Intake, assessments, brief interventions, and reviews are all available.
  • Create a therapeutic relationship with children and their families.
  • As needed, work closely with family and caregivers.
  • Comprehensive mental health evaluation (risk and physical health)
  • When working with clients, apply early intervention principles.
  • As needed, provide evidence-based psychoeducation and health literacy.
  • Develop and revise Mental Health Treatment Plans in partnership with the client, their family, caregivers, GPs, Psychiatrists, and other agencies in order to offer coordinated clinical care in accordance with an MHTP.
  • Create and maintain a thorough recovery-based care plan.
  • Clinical care and therapy, including mental state monitoring, medication monitoring, and metabolic monitoring, in accordance with the MHTP and care plan.
