Principal Responsibilities

Your tasks will include the following:

  • Contribute to the creation of the School Behaviour Policy.
  • To aid in the monitoring of students’ intellectual, social, and emotional well-being within a year group.
  • Communicate with parents and outside agencies and to attend meetings as needed.
  • Supervising tasks assigned in accordance with School policy.
  • When dealing with arguments and occurrences, promote positive values, attitudes, and excellent student behavior.
  • Manage students who exhibit socially undesirable or problematic behavior in accordance with the school’s policies.
  • Developing fruitful working connections with students by employing approaches that foster pupil involvement and participation in activities.
  • Maintain daily contact with assigned students in order to support, help, and allow them to reach the goals established, as well as to build the mindset and abilities necessary to meet goals with less support.
  • Collaboration with other practitioners is required to provide effective treatments and support for children and families.
  • Encourage students to develop social and independent skills while giving assistance as required.
  • Report pupil and school concerns in accordance with the School’s regulations on health and safety, child protection, and behavior management, among other things.
  • As needed, attend parent consultation nights, meetings, and training sessions.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities such as open days and presentation evenings.
