West Eyreton is located 10 minutes from Oxford and 25 minutes from Rangiora. This is a 400-effective-hectare farm that milks 650-700 cows using a 60-bale rotary, raises 160 heifer replacement calves, and has a beef system with 180 bull calves.
About You
We are searching for a team member that will contribute to our highly driven team with a positive attitude. Personal development is encouraged and fostered, with Ag ITO encouraging all team members to upskill.
In addition to your good mindset, you will have:
- Experience with livestock would be advantageous but not required.
- A strong commitment to health, safety, and animal welfare, as well as a thorough understanding of contemporary dairy farming procedures in New Zealand.
- Experience with Farm IQ, Milk Hub, or another FMS is preferred but not required.
- A restricted or full New Zealand driver’s license is required.
