What Are the Required Documents for a UK Visa?

You should submit the following documents to apply for a UK visa:

  • Two photographs. These photographs should have been taken in color during the last six months

  • Detailed travel itinerary. Submit a trip plan that includes all of the details on how and what you intend to do in the UK. Add your travel dates, destinations, meeting agenda, scheduled tour, festival schedule, and so on.
  • Tuberculosis Test Results. In order to be eligible for a UK visa, nationals of various global countries will need to request a TB Test.
  • Biometric information. If you are applying for a visa that allows you to stay in the UK for longer than six months, you must provide biometric information. This includes providing fingerprints and having a digital image taken at the proper application center.
  • UK visa invitation letter. (If appropriate). If you are staying with a friend or family member, you must provide a letter of invitation. Your host must be a British national or a lawful resident of the UK.
  • Paid UK visa fees. You must present the receipt confirming that you have paid the required visa fee.
