Dear Sir/Madame,
I am writing to apply for a job in your company. I learned of this opportunity through a website. I have a diploma in “Industrial Maintenance” from the Tunisian agency of professional training.
In my study years, I was gradually exposed to the field of industrial maintenance, in all of its aspects. In fact, I am familiar with working on different types of motors, pumps and machines.
Moreover, I am proficient when it comes to the use of electricity, hydraulic and pneumatic power. I also had the chance to work with metal forming machines. To consolidate my skills, I conducted three internships in a milk factory where I participated in several roles and acquired an elaborate knowledge on the different processes in the factory and on its machines’ mechanisms and maintenance.
Furthermore, for a period of two years, I worked as a maintenance technician for a solar energy company. I was responsible for preparing technical offers, installing equipment and maintenance. This was a great opportunity for me to broaden my horizon and to solidify my technical expertise.
On the other hand, I was tasked with the management of a gym for over three years. During this time, I greatly improved my management and organization skills. On top of that, due to being on contact with several people every day, I was able to ameliorate my communication and negotiation prowess.
I am also a very active member in my community and I had the chance to participate in many activities organized by either our local municipality or youth organizations, such as food collection, health caravans, cleaning schools and hospitals…etc. Moreover, I participated in a summer academy for training youth leaders for a period of seven years. Finally, I am a registered professional dancer with a track record of several successful shows.
I think young people like us, nowadays, need to expand their views and be more innovative. This is, especially, important in an ever-changing global economy.
