Psychiatry Jobs US at Trinity Health: Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, one of the Delaware Valley’s largest health systems, has an excellent full-time opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist to join our employed medical group and practice at Mercy Catholic Medical Center’s Fitzgerald Campus in Darby, Pennsylvania.
We are looking for a full-time inpatient psychiatrist to work Monday through Friday on our adult acute inpatient psychiatric unit. As part of a collaborative group of clinicians that includes nurses, social workers, and activities therapists, our inpatient psychiatric services provide each patient with an individualized care plan.
This opportunity’s highlights include:
- A maximum of 12 patients can be counted.
- A fully integrated electronic medical record (EPIC) with remote access is used.
- A significantly lower rate of seclusion and restraint – 24-hour support from our well-trained security team
- Access to the most recent and cutting-edge psychotropic medications
- Teaching medical students with the possibility of becoming a faculty member at Drexel University College of Medicine and Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine
- Collaboration with all medical specialties to provide comprehensive and well-rounded care to each patient. Supported by a team of professionals that includes medical doctors, social workers, nurses, pharmacists, and a physician-friendly administration.
- A very reasonable call schedule that requires 1 weekend of daytime inpatient rounding/consults per month for extra compensation. There are opportunities for additional compensated calls, but they are not required.
