PMA Long Course Duration?

The duration of the PMA long course is two years.

Eligibility Criteria

All citizens of Pakistan are eligible to apply for Pakistan Army LC.

• Only male candidates are eligible to apply.
• Education requires Intermediate or equivalent degree holders.
• The candidate should not be married.
• Age 17-22 years required.
• Graduation 2-year degree holders aged 17 to 23 years.
• Graduation 4 years degree BBA / BPA pass / BS / BA (Hons) pass with age 17 to 24 years are eligible to apply.
• Servicemen aged 17 to 25 years are eligible to apply.

Physical Requirement

• The height required: Minimum 5 feet 4 inches (162.5) cm
• Visual standard with glasses 6/9, 6/12
• Weight as per BMI

PMA LC Selection Criteria

For the selection process, the candidates have to go through the following tests which are:

• Preliminary Test (Computer Based Test)
• Physical test
• The interview
• Early Medical

After passing the above tests, candidates will undergo further tests, which are:

• ISSB test
• Final Medical

After these two tests, successful candidates will go to Pakistan Military Academy for two years of training.
