Visa Sponsored OECD Internship For Student 2023: The OECD Internship Programme Is Designed To Bring Highly Qualified And Motivated Students From Diverse Backgrounds Into The Organization To Work On Projects Related To The Secretary-Strategic General’s Orientations And Support The Organization’s Corporate Functions. Its primary objective is to provide successful candidates with the opportunity to enhance their analytical and technical skills in a global setting.
The Internship Programme Is Continuously Available. Online applications are accepted from students enrolled in a fully accredited degree programme (bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral) for the duration of their internship. Internships Are Open For Students
- Are Enrolled In A Full-Time Degree Programme In A Field Or Discipline Related To The Work Of The OECD For The Duration Of The Internship; Are Available For A Minimum Internship Duration Of One Month; Have An Excellent Command Of One Of The Two Official Languages Of The OECD (English Or French) And Working Knowledge Of, Or Willingness To Learn, The Other. Possessing Knowledge Of Other Languages Used At The OECD Is An Asset;
- Possess solid quantitative and IT skills; exhibit outstanding drafting and communication skills; and be able to work in a multicultural and international team environment.
Paris, France, is home to the majority of internships. Internships Are Primarily Allotted To Nationals Of OECD Member Countries But Are Also Open To Nationals Of Non-OECD Member Countries For Certain Programmes And Projects Across OECD Affiliated Bodies And Agencies (E.G. International Tax Forum, ITF, NEA).
Examples Of Work Entrusted To Interns Include:
- Contributing To The Preparation Of Reports And Studies;
- Conducting Research And Evaluations Of Existing Materials;
- Collecting, Organising And Analysing Data;
- Contributing to the production of documents, working papers, and publications resulting from the aforementioned activities, including the drafting of notes and preparation of technical annexes;
- Attending Conferences And Seminars;
- Communication and network building with national administration officials, researchers, and other international organisations and member country delegations;
- Participating in Event Organization, Communication, Planning, and Evaluation.
Selection Process
The Selection Procedure Includes Four Major Steps: Your Cover Letter And Online Application (Addressed To The Internship Office); Pre-Screening: The Internship Office screens all applications and provides OECD with a shortlist of qualified candidates.
Internship Duration
The duration of the full-time internship is between one and six months (renewable for an additional six months for a maximum of twelve months) (40 Hours Per Week). The OECD encourages prospective interns to pursue a four-month or longer internship in order to maximise their experience.
Monthly Living Allowances
The OECD will provide interns with a contribution towards their living expenses of approximately 700 Euros per month worked.
