Undergraduate Degree Programs Scholarships

Types of Undergraduate Scholarships

  • Firstly, Guaranteed Entrance Scholarships: Students who apply for admission with this scholarship will be automatically considered.
  • Best and Brightest Entrance Scholarships: This award is given to students based on their academic performance, leadership, and contributions to school and community life. The scholarship program contains the following components:
  • Firstly, The George and Marsha Ivany President’s First and Best Scholarships are worth $10,000 each. $40,000 ($10,000/year over four years)
  • Secondly, Chancellors’ Scholarships worth $30,000 ($7,500/year over four years)
  • University of Saskatchewan Entrance Scholarships worth $24,000 ($6,000 each year for four years)
  • Edwards Undergraduate Scholarships which are worth $24,000 ($6,000 per year over four years)
  • Lastly, College of Agriculture and Bioresources Renewable Entrance Scholarships worth $12,000 ($3,000/year over four years)

Graduate Degree Programs Scholarships

Students at the University can apply for a number of scholarships, including the following:

  • First and foremost, the University Dean’s scholarship. This award is worth a Master’s degree: $18,000 each year for up to two years. Doctorate: $22,000 per year for three years.

Who Can Apply?

Interested applicants must meet the following requirements to be eligible for the scholarship program:

  • To be eligible to apply for a Bachelor’s degree, students must have completed high school and reside outside of Canada.
  • Furthermore, students must be undergraduates. To be eligible for a Master’s Degree Program, you must have a four-year undergraduate degree, or the equivalent, from a recognized college or university.
  • To qualify for a Ph.D. degree program, applicants must have a Master’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university.
  • Finally, to be eligible for a Postgraduate Diploma, students must have a four-year undergraduate degree, or equivalent, from a recognized college or university.
