Wexford Potatoes

Wexford is known for growing some of the best potatoes, such as British Queen and Kerrs Pink. The skin is yellow and white, and the meat is clear white. The British Queen has a great flavour that is all its own. This can be used for cooking, frying, baking, and mashing, among other things. The second most popular type of potato in Ireland is the Kerrs Pink, which is also known as the “Irish Potato.” They have beautiful pink skin that stands out and white, floury meat that is quite starchy. It’s best to steam, boil, or bake with them. They’re great for trying.
