If you find a job teaching English in a smaller city, like Chiang Mai, Pattaya, Huahin, Pai, or Krabi, you can expect to make around US$1,000 per month.
- I want to tell you more about the monthly salary for a TEFL-certified English teacher in Thailand. It depends on where you start working. For example, if you start working at an international private school, your monthly salary could be as high as $5,000, but if you work at a public school, it could be as low as $800.
- With that, a TEFL-certified English teacher could make up to US$1500 per month, and a bilingual teacher at a special school could make up to US$2500 per month.
