  • You are not a citizen of the EEA, and you are responsible for paying the institution’s tuition price;
  • You are a very successful student in comparison to the requirements of your institution;
  • You are interested in pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree with a full-time schedule at Erasmus University Rotterdam;
  • You did not graduate from an educational facility located in the Netherlands and receive a diploma;
  • You have never attended a Dutch educational institution on the level of a full-time student working toward a degree of any kind;
  • You are only eligible to win the Holland Scholarship once if you attend Erasmus University;

  1. Who is eligible for the Holland scholarship?

    International students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who wish to pursue their bachelor’s or master’s degree in the Netherlands are eligible for the Holland Scholarship.

  2. What language does the Netherlands speak?

  3. How much is the Holland scholarship? 

    The NL Scholarship is not a full-tuition scholarship; it amounts to €10,000. You need to have received full admission to an English-taught bachelor program at VHL. If you are selected, the amount will be transferred to your Dutch bank account in four equal parts during your four years of study.
