How to Apply for Fully-Funded MTCP Scholarship for Students 2023
All applications must be submitted online through our application management system. All of the following documents must be uploaded via the online application (scanned and saved in PDF format) and are required:
a. Application form (to be completed in the system online);
b. the latest admission offer letter from Malaysian universities for academic intake in 2023 (please see the list of universities);
c. recommendation letters from two (2) referees;
d. Declaration of Intent;
e. An official copy of the academic transcript;
i. All courses taken throughout the duration of the degree program must be reflected on academic transcripts;
ii. Applicants must submit their undergraduate transcripts, and
iii. Applicants are required to submit an official document from their alma mater that describes the university’s grading system. The applicant’s transcript must be certified if it does not include information on GPA, grades, or score percentile.
f. Curriculum Vitae;
g. A certified copy of the English Language Proficiency test result (TOEFL, IELTS, PTE, CAE, CPE, MUET, or equivalent qualification) or a letter from the previous institution stating that English was the medium of instruction for the degree(s) obtained;
h. A certified copy of the applicant’s passport as proof of nationality (with a minimum 18-month validity);
i. Report of a medical examination; and

Eligibility Criteria of Fully-Funded MTCP Scholarship for Students 2023
Scholarship applicants for the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP) must meet the following criteria:
a. A maximum age of 45 at the time of application
b. Applicants for the Master’s Degree Program must have attained a minimum of Second Class Upper (Honours) or a minimum CGPA of 3.50 or equivalent at the Bachelor’s Degree level.
Evidence of English Proficiency:
i. A scanned copy of the original proof of English language proficiency, such as an IELTS (minimum total score of 6) or TOEFL web-based test (minimum total score of 60); or
ii. Obtained prior degrees in which English was the language of instruction.
d. is deemed to be in excellent health by a doctor or physician. The applicant must pay for the entire cost of the medical examination.
e. The applicant must enroll full-time in postgraduate programs (Master’s Degree) at selected Malaysian universities (please refer to the List of Universities). Only applicants who have received a valid admission offer letter from at least one (1) Malaysian university but have not yet begun their postgraduate studies or who have registered for no more than one semester for a Master’s Degree may apply.
