Foreign Government Scholarships 2023: The governments of developed countries such as the United States of America, the United Kingdom of Great Britain, Australia, Japan, and many countries in Europe award scholarships funded by the government to exceptional international students from all over the world. This is done as part of their commitment to international development cooperation and to promote the internationalization of their education systems.

Fulbright Foreign Student Program:
International students from 155 countries across the world are eligible to apply for full scholarships through the Fulbright Program in order to study for a master’s or doctoral degree in the United States. Additionally, scholarships may be granted for postgraduate studies that do not lead to a degree. The program provides funding for the student’s tuition, textbooks, travel, a stipend for living expenses, and medical insurance. Every year, around 1,800 students are given financial aid in the form of scholarships.
Program of Fellowships in Honor of Hubert H. Humphrey:
Through the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program, experienced professionals from nations that have been pre-selected are awarded the opportunity to spend a year in the United States pursuing professional development opportunities. The fellowship will cover expenses such as school fees, living expenses, accident, and health insurance, and travel costs, among other things. A total of around two hundred Fellowships are given out each year.
Scholarships from the United Kingdom for Developing Commonwealth Countries:
The Commonwealth Scholarships are for students from developing Commonwealth nations who wish to pursue Master’s and Ph.D. studies in the United Kingdom. Each scholarship includes, among other benefits, round-trip flights to and from the United Kingdom, tuition and examination fees, a personal maintenance allowance, a thesis award (if available), and an initial arrival allowance. Each year, approximately 300 of these scholarships are offered.
Orange Knowledge Programme:
The Orange Knowledge Project seeks to promote the development of the capacity, knowledge, and quality of both individuals and organizations in the field of higher and vocational education, as well as in other fields linked to the priority themes in the program nations. Scholarships are offered for a variety of short courses (2 weeks to 1 year in duration) and master’s programs (duration 12 – 24 months). An OKP scholarship is intended to supplement the income you should continue to get while your studies in the Netherlands. The allowance is a contribution to your living expenses, including tuition, visa, travel, insurance, etc. If applicable, the scholarship recipient is responsible for covering the difference between real costs and the amount of the OKP scholarship.
Master Mind Scholarships from the Government of Flanders for International Students:
Master Mind Scholarships is a new scholarship program launched by the Government of Flanders to encourage the globalization of Flemish Higher Education. Up to 45 scholarships are awarded to outstanding Master’s students from all nations. The entering student is offered a maximum annual scholarship of €8,000. The Flemish Host Institution may charge the applicant a maximum annual tuition of €109.
DAAD Scholarships for Postgraduate Development-Related Courses:
The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) offers scholarships at German universities for a variety of postgraduate courses with a focus on developing countries. The scholarships are intended for international students and young professionals from developing nations in Africa, Asia, the Pacific Islands, Central and South America, and Eastern Europe. Scholarships from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) provide a variety of full and partial scholarships for certain programs.
Italian Scholarships for International Students:
The Italian Government offers scholarships for study in Italy to both international students and Italians living abroad. The scholarships are for university degree programs, advanced vocational training, courses in art and music, master’s degree programs, doctoral programs, and so forth. It is only possible to apply for scholarships lasting three, six, or nine months.
Excellence in Eiffel Scholarships:
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs created the Eiffel scholarship program to enable French higher education institutions to attract the brightest international students for master’s and doctoral degree programs. Eiffel scholarship recipients receive a monthly stipend in addition to reimbursement for travel, health insurance, and cultural activities. It does not cover the cost of tuition.
