Applications are open for the European Parliament Traineeship 2023. The European Parliament Internship is a five-month internship program in Brussels, Luxembourg, and Strasbourg. The traineeship program will be formally organized in the Secretariat (Schumann Traineeships) and traineeships with Members of the European Parliament. International applicants from any country with any nationality can apply. Applicants from the European Member States are also eligible to apply. The European Parliament traineeship will cover the expenses of the participants.
The European Union Parliament Traineeship will run from 1 March 2023 to 31 July 2023. For this, you have to apply online from 1st to 31st October 2022. Schumann traineeships can be carried out in various fields, such as EU internal and external policies, finance, law, multilingualism, administration, infrastructure and logistics, communications, or IT. Required Qualifications
You need a university degree after completing at least three years of study. You must have obtained your diploma at least three months before the first day of your traineeship. You can also apply if you don’t have a degree and you can apply with a transcript.

EU internal and external policies, finance, law, multilingualism, administration, infrastructure and logistics, communication, or IT.
Age Limit?
You must be at least 18 years old to apply. There is no upper age limit.
I am not a citizen of a European Union Member State. Can I still apply?
Yes. Competent authorities may offer a limited number of traineeships to applicants.
Outside the EU If you are selected, you will need to apply for any visas, residence permits, and work permits.
Required Documents
If you are shortlisted, we will ask you to provide:
- A copy of your university-level diploma.
- Copy of a valid passport/identity card.
- A copy of your criminal record issued within the last six months before the date begins.
