First, both domestic and international students can pursue dozens of engineering specialties at the Canada’s University of Waterloo. Such candidates may select engineering-related undergraduate, graduate, and research degrees in fields including biomedical, electrical, mechanics, architecture, etc.

The University of Waterloo provides engineering scholarships to assist students who are financially strapped, including entrance scholarships for the faculty of engineering, Indigenous and Black Engineering and Technology (IBET) Momentum Fellowships, Vector Scholarships in Artificial Intelligence, CARL Pollock Postgraduate Fellowship in Engineering, Federal Tri-Council Scholarships, Faculty of Engineering Scholarships, Ontario Graduation Scholarships, and more.

For University of Waterloo engineering scholarships, you must have the following test scores: IELTS, TOEFL IBT, CAEL, PTE, C1/C2, DET, & EFAS.

Engineering scholarships are available from the University of British Columbia. Engineering leadership, engineering physics, biomedical engineering, electrical or chemical engineering, etc. are among the options available to applicants.

UBC accepts the CAEL, C1/C2/B2, CEL, IELTS, PTE, TOEFL, and DET examinations.

Engineering scholarships are available for undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate study at the University of Toronto in Canada. Scholarships in mechanical, mining, civil, chemical, and electrical engineering are available to applicants.

Awards provided by the Ontario Student Opportunity Trust Fund (OSOTF), including the Albert and Rose Jong Entrance Scholarship, the Aber Scholarships in Applied Science & Engineering, the Arthur B. Johns Admission Scholarship, the Beland Honderich Awards, the Betz Entrance Scholarship in Electrical and Computer Engineering, etc.

For language requirements, applicants must provide results from the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies “Academic English” course, C1/C2, CanTest, CAEL, Caribbean Examinations Council English courses, DET, ELDA/COPE, GCSE/IGCSE/GCE/AICE, IB, IELTS, and TOEFL.

Candidates that are interested in engineering careers can apply for scholarships at the University of Alberta. Applicants at the University of Alberta’s Faculty of Engineering may qualify for generous scholarships.

Canadian scholarships are available in the fields of biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, engineering co-op, etc. The 1949 Chemical Engineers’ Dr. George W. Govier Award, the Allen Strang Memorial Award, the American Welding Society Award in Welding Engineering, the Albert Hanson Memorial Scholarship in Materials Engineering, the Albert Julian Hrapko Memorial Scholarship in Computer Engineering, etc.

It is necessary to have results from the TOEFL IBT, IELTS, CanTest, CAEL, DET, CAEL, Cambridge English Scale, and PTE.

McGill engineering scholarships:

Scholarships are available from McGill University in the fields of mining and materials engineering, mechanical engineering, and architecture. Scholarships such as Hatch, Entrance, AdvanSix STEM, Research, and others are available to students.

Candidates for the McGill University Engineering Scholarship must submit their IELTS, TOEFL, and DET results.

Engineering students at Concordia University who are struggling financially can apply for scholarships to study chemical, mechanical, electrical, civil, or industrial engineering.

The Concordia University Engineering Scholarships accept IELTS, TOEFL, and DET scores.

The Paul Fazio Building Engineering Undergraduate Award, the Magil Construction Ltd. Scholarship, the Leonard J. Bocarro Science, Engineering and Technology Scholarship, the Susan Levin Woods Scholarship, and additional scholarships are all offered by Concordia University’s engineering faculty.

Engineering scholarships at UCalgary

International and local engineering students can now apply for partially or fully funded scholarships from the Schulich School of Engineering at the University of Calgary. These aspiring civil, biomedical, electrical, mechanical, and computer engineers can afford to pay for their education.
