  • To qualify for a University of Minnesota Fellowship, candidates must satisfy the following requirements:

  • Meet the requirements for entry into the academic MDP program.

  • Language proficiency in English is required. Valid TOEFL or IELTS exam results with a minimum TOEFL score of 600 (paper-based), 250 (computer-based), or 100 (Internet-based; a minimum score of 22 on each section) or 7 (IELTS).
  • A valid Graduate Record Examination (GRE) score is required.No minimum grade is required.
  • In the event of unemployment, a letter from your current employer’s HR department that includes your salary, pay stub, or bank statement is required.
