The Australian National University has a 35% acceptance rate and is extremely competitive. To be eligible for admission, international students must have a minimum GPA of 5.0, an IELTS score of 6.5, and work experience of at least 3 to 5 years in order to secure a seat.

$28092 per year (2020 rate) for up to 3.5 years, plus benefits (as outlined in the Conditions of Award).

  • Candidates must hold an Australian Bachelor’s degree with First Class Honours (or equivalent) or a Master’s degree (with a significant research component) in Physical Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.

  • ANU English language requirements must be met by candidates.
