Kyoto University ADB Scholarship in Japan is now available through the Asian Development Bank Japan. Asian Development Bank Scholarships are open to all international students from throughout the world. The ADB Japan Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship to study for a Masters’s degree at Kyoto University. To apply for the Scholarship, there is no application fee. Kyoto University and the Asian Development Bank are partnering to provide a two-year master’s degree scholarship. Every year, the ADB awards 300 scholarships to international students from various nations throughout the world. The classes are all in English. As a result, prior understanding of Japanese is not required. Until now, the ADB has been the highest fully funded scholarship award.

Eligibility Criteria for Kyoto University Scholarship

  • Be a national of one of the ADB countries listed above.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent, as well as an outstanding academic record.
  • At the time of application, you must have at least two (2) years of full-time professional working experience (after a university degree).
  • At the time of application, you must be no older than 35 years old. In extreme situations, the age limit for programs acceptable for senior officials and managers is 45 years old.
  • Accept the offer to return to your native nation once the program is completed.
