Scholarship Coverage
- Eight $5,000 Dean’s Awards for Academic Excellence Scholarships will be presented by each faculty. The awards may only be applied as fee waivers towards the cost of tuition fees for master’s courses taught full-time.
- Eight £5,000 scholarships are available from the Faculty of Engineering and Design.
- The Humanities and Social Sciences Faculty awards eight £5,000 scholarships.
- The Science Faculty awards eight £5,000 scholarships.
Eligibility Criteria for Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence Scholarship
To be eligible for the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence Scholarship, a candidate must meet all of the requirements listed below.
- Language required: English
- All global countries are eligible.
- You must hold an offer from the University of Bath for a 2022-beginning full-time taught master’s course.
- The course must originate from the faculty of engineering and design, the faculty of humanities and social sciences, or the faculty of science.

Please follow the instructions below to apply for the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence Scholarship:
- Apply to full-time taught masters course in one of the following faculties: Faculty of Engineering & Design, Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences, or Faculty of Science.
- Submit an application for the scholarship: To apply, you must complete the scholarship application form for the University of Bath using your application tracker. As part of the scholarship application process, we will ask you to answer 3–5 questions.
