People living in Azerbaijan are encouraged to apply for the Azerbaijan Government Scholarships 2024–25. Candidates for Azerbaijan Scholarships can be students from 152 different countries around the world. The Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs is giving out the prize. The Azerbaijan Scholarship 2024 is open to all students who want to get a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, PhD, or general medicine residency program. This is the Fully Funded Scholarship for the 2024–25 school year.

With this grant, you can study almost any subject or major at a university in Azerbaijan. Twenty universities are taking part in this scheme.

On the orders of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Scholarship in Azerbaijan was made possible. A person from an OIC or NAM member country can apply for the grant.

Financial Benefits:

Azerbaijan Government Scholarships 2024-25 is a Fully Funded Scholarship for International Students to pursue Undergraduate and Postgraduate Degree programs. It will cover the following expenses:

  • Complete Tuition Fee
  • Economy Class International Flight once in a Year.
  • 800 AZN (470 USD) Monthly Stipend for MealsAccommodation and Utility.
  • Medical Insurance 200 AZN (117 USD).

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Anyone from outside of the United States can apply. People who are citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan or whose citizenship in the Republic of Azerbaijan has been taken away will not be eligible for a Scholarship.
  • Undergraduate and general medicine schools only accept people younger than 35 years old.
  • Residents and people with a Master’s degree must be younger than 40 years old.
  • To get a PhD, you have to be younger than 45 years old.

Selection & Result

Documents Required

  • Fill out the nomination form (this is the first step in the entry process).
  • Transcripts or diplomas from previous college or high school work
  • Copy of your passport.
  • Health status report, which includes HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis B, and C tests
  • a CV or a resume.
  • Letter of Motivation.
  • Proof that you can speak and write English well (is not required for programs in foreign languages, but is recommended for college programs: IELTS 5, TOEFL 40, and IELTS 5.5, TOEFL 50 for other programs).

How to apply

Officially, the applicant must have been chosen by the Azerbaijani ministries or embassies in your country. Use that to send in your forms. Applications sent directly will not be looked at. Take a look at the Official Ad. Here is a link:

  • As the first step in the application process, people who want to apply must bring the necessary paperwork to the appropriate Embassy in your country. The last day to send it in is May 20, 2024, at 6 p.m. Baku time.
  • If the candidates are publicly nominated by their own governments, they will move on to the second step of the application process. From June 16 to July 1, 2024, they can apply through the Study in Azerbaijan Centralized Admission Service (SIACAS) website (portal.edu.az). Applicants must log in to the SIACAS website and then choose the right Admission route (“Heydar Aliyev – International Education Grant” program) to apply.
  • In the right way, candidates can choose from two degree programs at different higher education schools in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
  • The SIACAS lets applicants know what’s going on with their applications and lets them know when the next steps are due. At the same time, applicants will see alerts in their personal account.
  • From June 16, 2024, at 12 a.m., until July 1, 2024, at 6 p.m. Baku time, the SIACAS website will still be open for application registration.
  • A person with more than one nationality can only send in one application, and it must be for one of the eligible nations (Annex 2) mentioned in this Call for Applications. It must be sent in according to the applicant’s nationality as confirmed by the appropriate state bodies.
  • In the first round of the Scholarship program, only applications that were nominated by their home countries will be put through the review process.
